Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The Duke of Edinburgh is a very prestigous award recognised all over the U.K by employers as a sign of a dedicated and hard working individual.  Eye Matter offers the chance for its members to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme by outting them through the bronze award.

There are four aspects to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, service, skills, physical activity and an expedition.  Each participant must spend at least an hour a week for three months on each aspect.  The service requires you to volunteer for an organisation or group.  The skill can be anything from learning new IT skills to crochet.  For physical activity you can do something as simple as walking every week right up to mountain biking.

If you are interested please get in contact with us to find out about free spaces and where your nearest Duke of Edinburgh centre is.
